I liked this story, but not as much as previous ones. The typos were unpleasant, and it did seem like at the end the bad guys were just waiting to be dropped in on by the good guys. Other than that, I found this to be a nice read. Okay, let's end the discussion: yes, the technology may have been skewed but who really cares if the facts aren't completely accurate? They're close enough and it doesn't subtract from the story! Finally, the reason Lyons brought wire link fencing is because it goes back to the days of 'Nam and it was Bolan's request. There you have it. Thanks for another good read! -
This is, in my opinion, THE best book I've read yet. The villian is almost unstoppable, constantly pulling off his murders right underneath Bolan's nose. Even more, you can feel Bolan's frustation at not being able to stop the atrocities. Even Phoenix Force, Able Team and Mack together were unable to stop Kabat. And do not forget the justice that was dished out at the end.... Kabat stabbed, shot AND burned alive. Follow it up with his ally's home being burnt to the ground. That was true justice!!! I'd give this book an 11 if it were possible. -
This could be the best one yet that I have read. It rocked from start to finish. I loved the whole concept of the Juggernauts! Every Bolan fan should read this. You'd be crazy to call it less than awesome. -
A very enjoyable story with some unusual action sequences (for example, fighting three thugs while seated) and a very strong female who was far from wimpy. Add in the very tense climax and you've got this book: another great entry in the series!! -
This was yet another great story in the series. I have yet to read one that I do not like. Unfortunately, it ended way too quick for my taste. There should have been some kind of epilogue instead of them just walking away at the end. Very much enjoyed seeing the team members working together. Good story, just too brief an ending. Now, on to "Sleepers". -
This was an overall good ending to the trilogy, but, as others have pointed out, the ending was anticlimatic. I also would have preferred that Bolan and The Two had an encounter of some sort at the end. That and Cerberus should have faced off with Mack. A good story, though, despite the things mentioned above. -
This was another GREAT story!! I loved it from start to finish! The only problems I had were the death of Akbar and co. (nastiest death to date) and little Thomas getting killed. But I'm glad justice prevailed in the end and the head Arab lived long enough to see his plan fail. That sub-human should have taken another shot from the Desert Eagle, IMO. Like I said, GREAT book and definitely a keeper!!
