This was the first Stony Man Book I ever read and I loved it. It was very cool from start to finish. I especially loved the Assault on the Cascade headquarters with Lyons using two auto shotguns. This book kicks huge ass!!! -
Very informative and understandable. I liked how the book had all of the weapons he uses and even a memorial to fallen marines. WELL DONE -
I found this book in my local comic shop when I was bored one day. It looked like just about any other action packed book I have seen. If you have read my reviews you would know that I am also a huge fan of the Punisher by Marvel Comics. So when I discovered that this was the inspiration for the Punisher, I flipped out!!! I started buying up as many books as I could find and I was reading like a madman. I am glad that there is something this cool out there now on the market. -
This story was very personal to me because it reminded me of a friend from high school who was going off to fight in the middle east. This story to me was an excellent tale of real life conflict and adventure in a real setting. Good Work -
Not Bad at all. I loved the characters Adonis and Dark. They were some of the best villains I have read in a long time. I especially loved the fight between Kowalsky and Adonis because it had a real David (pun) and Goliath feel to it. -
Terrific story telling. This book reminded me of the film 8mm with Nicolas Cage but with a kick ass style. The Iceman was a real bastard and deserved every shot from that magnum. Perhaps my favorite part was when D'Andrea got his in the end after getting shot in the balls very cool. -
This book had that comic book feel all over it. The Ghoul was a very impressive villain and I really liked just how evil the dude was. The ending was excellent because it felt like when mel gibson chained the punk to the burning vehicle at the end of MAD MAX. The Ghoul is right up there as one of my favorite literary villains along with the joker, dr. doom and the red skull. -
OK. Don't quote me, but this may be the best book I have ever read. This story was totally amazing from start to finish, and the characters were all extreemly cool. Keep up the good work boys. -
This story was the first Executioner story I ever read and it is still one of my favorites. It was like taking the monsters of 28 days later with the punisher. Very smart and full of action. I also liked the second chapter of the story even though I felt that it had no bearing whatsoever on the overall plot. Other than that, what a great story. -
I first got into "The Executioner" because of Marvel Comics "The Punisher." I started reading "The Executioner" at number 312. I was hooked and I had to get more of them! I also picked up the executioner comic book and thought that was ok. But the War against the Mafia book was even better. To me, this story was amazing to read and even better than I expected. It's great to know that after over 300 books, this stories keep getting better.
