America's defense unit works under the radar to stop terror before it hits America's streets. But with each new crisis, Stony Man's cyberwizards understand that the new battlefield is deep space. Someday a super weapon may be impossible to stop. With luck, that day won't come, thanks to Stony Man's field teams, bringing the fight to the enemy, face-to-face....

An invisible enemy plots to launch a bomb from orbit, exposing vulnerable cities to radiation. Intel points to a multinational terror force bent on controlling the skies over the free world. Suddenly the Farm is on a hunt for a threat that could shake the entire planet. The covert commandos are pushed to the limit, especially when they have to prevent a suicide crash of a knockoff shuttle into New York City- a collision that would turn the city into a smoking crater.

Seems to me the authors in this series are having a contest between themselves as to who can produce the biggest load of the unbelievable and Doug has a very good go here with both Teams on their way to the International Space Station which has been taken over by terrorists at one stage but has produced yet again one of the better titles released in this series which you will enjoy if you read this one for sure. This one cranks up let me tell you as apart from the terrorists who have taken over the ISS and are bombarding the planet with radioactive rods hackers employed by the bad guys who are equal to the cybernetic team at The Farm are taking over satellite's and crashing them into selected locations. Now the author is renowned for his action scene sections of his titles and here he has produced many again but with two standout sections which YOU WILL ENJOY if you read this one. The first is when Able Team reach the ISS and gain entry from the shuttle. No gravity up there folks and obviously no firearms can be used so you will read some of the finest descriptions of necks being broken and knife fight sections with floating blood drops and bodies written in this series FULL STOP. Secondly Rafe has a fight with an ex Greek special forces operative under water which is also some special reading. Loved it highly recommended reading.

A new chocolate covered Stony Man with orange writing? Why, it must be an entry from Doug Wojtowicz. Able Team follows the Bull. Phoenix Force visits the Phoenix Graveyard. Anything else would be spoiling. Just when I thought the entry was figured out, it deftly pulls off into another direction, and then reasonably moves in another direction. What I can divulge is that the book contains some of the most original combat sequences I have seen to date. The author’s fourth Stony Man has fluency with our protagonists, knowledge of their previous adventures and sneaks in several references to these previous, now-classic adventures. By keeping the mystery of the Big Bad in this one a secret to the last possible moment, the title has that special sense of intrigue, lacking from other titles. Slightly disappointed with the end results, I respected the journey more. Then I was rewarded with the colorful jokers, er, villains populating the book. In terms of new characters, plot, twists, action, continuity and memorable scenes, this has it all. It will be very difficult to top this one.

I have only read 4 Stony Man books so far, but this one is definently my favorite so far. It was intense the whole way through, had a ton of action, and I couldn't put it down. My favorite parts of the book is when Able team was trapped up in space. They couldn't use guns, which resulted in a LOT of bloody, violent hand-to-hand combat fights in a zero-gravity environment, which I felt was awesome. The final fight for Phoenix force in the book was really well done too. So far the writer of this book has undoubtedly been my favorite Executioner, Mack Bolan, Stony Man writer.
