This is a well written very suspenseful book. Mack got called in for one mission that quickly developed into a much bigger mission. He was also "assigned" a partner who had some serious baggage from her past. It was good to see how Mack tried to both protect the mission and her. It was also nice to see who Mack turned to for help with dealing with the partner(do not want to gice it away). This book was low on action- although the action that was in it was good-but it had great character development. I would highly recommend this one.
