An amazing chapter in the Phoenix Force saga, excellent action and heart stopping tragedy, An over all gem of a book, but I still can't believe that they killed Kieo, the series wasn't very old, being only 12 books in and they blasted one of the most interesting members of Pheonix to oblivion. But I must say he was one tough mother, being shot, stabbed and beaten and still killing all of his attackers before dying. Rest in Peace Kieo O'Hara. -
A very good but tragicly sad chapter in the Mack Bolan series'. It had amazing action, unexpected treachery and heart breaking sorrow. Pure Gold, is the simplest way to discribe it. The only part that I didn't want to happen was April being killed. But the assassin who did it got swift redemption of the .44 Automag kind. -
Not one of the best, but it did have it's bright spots, for me this one dragged too much in the beginning and that dropped it alot to me. But it did come back when Mack starts to infiltrate the Di George family and ends up in the arms of the Don's daughter. -
Day of the Vulture is what started me on the whole Mack Bolan adventure series, to this day I can still remember every mental picture I imagined while reading this book. This one is pure gold. The Vulture is a very well made and presented bad guy and provides a worthy although futile challenge to the Executioner's war machine. -
Viper Factor was a very engaging chapter in the Phoenix Force saga, Mainly I liked this one because it showed that the team has a light hearted side and enjoys poking fun when they can. Also this edition didn't trudge through, it starts out well and simply continues to accelerate in action. One part that I enjoyed about this book was when they went into McCarter's personal life and showing that he has a love interest. The added piece on Kieo's past was very interesting and helped you to understand his samarui life-style.
