Breach of Trust May 27, 2000This is one heck of a great book!! Need I say more? Kasner does a wonderful job with the action, suspense, mystery, and detective work. Who dies? Read it and find out for yourself! (sorry) -
WOW!!! THIS BOOK KICKED SOOOO MUCH BUTT, ITS NOT FUNNY! Just wanted to get that in.... A wonderful entry by Mike Newton. The action scenes in this one were the parts that stood out the most. The biker thing was just pure genius, not just the action itself, but the idea and the on-the-spot improvisation by Bolan. The subway scence was breathtaking-- I'll agree with that-- I did not want to put the book down until that was resolved. I have to grieve for Morell, he was really good. Great overall book. Can't wait for Termination Point. Score (1-10) - 9.99 (In my opinion, no book is ever truly perfect.) -
Doomsday Conspiracy May 20, 2000This one was pretty good. The Grimaldi/Bolan teamup was really good. It was, however, rather repetative. Everywhere that the bad guys went, Mack Bolan followed them becuase of an interrogated prisoner. Whatever buisness associate was in that area, Bolan would find out, kick their asses to kingdom come, and just miss Kushka as he gets away. Then the cycle begins again. Other than that, It was pretty good. -
Day of Mourning May 17, 2000Wow. This is one heck of a turning point in the series. The overall emotion, and everything made this a memorable novel to my collection. The final page, I'd have to say was the best. April Rose didn't even die in the actual attack, but was shot, murdered, by a tratior (the head of Farm security!) in Mack's arms. Man! what a way to go! Then, the part with the AutoMag and the epitaph on the tree was really poetic justice. What a book!
