Great entry by Tim Somheil. Pheonix was great in this one. The humor was well placed and made it interesting. My complaint from an otherwise great book was the very last line in the book. It was all building up to this moment, with Pollari getting all jubulant. But if you read it, I think that: "THEN the gas started to flow." will make a little bit more sense and flow better with the context. That's all! Scale of 1-10, I say 9.5.

There isn't anything that I can say that everybody else has. This is THE Bolan book if there was one. A must read and a must own for collection purposes. Must be treasured!!

Where do I begin? This book was horrible! The pictures on the cover never occured in the book, and the representation of Mack Bolan on the cover with a rifle that he NEVER USED in the book was absurd. The plot was different, but the way it was expressed was horrible. I would not expect this from Jerry VanCook. There was too much torture, and not enough action. The character of Rhee was ridiculous. Even scarier fact is that I bought it for full price. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a ONE.

I'd have to agree with Terry here. This was a wonderful SuperBolan. It wasn't your average fast-action book, but what do you expect from the 1st book of a SB trilogy? What it did do was set the stage, and it did so in excellent fashion. On a scale of 1-10, rate it an 8.

While I would rather read the trilogy in order, I will agree that this one was not what I had expected it to be, especially since the cover seemed to jump out and explode in my face. (This actually is one my favorite covers since the end of the Gil Cohen Days.) This was 340 pages of 'wrapping it up' for Bolan, and I don't think that that is such a good plotline that can be expanded to 340 pages. It just wears thin. I really think that Mike was stretching it with this one. Especially the way everything seemed to fall Bolan's way in locating the cult. Once might have been believable, but (and correct me wrong on this) three times it a little much. The end too, it wasn't the big explosive finish that it could have been and should have been. He a)should have personally seen to The Two's execution, and b)wrecked some real havoc himself. That would have somewhat satified me. I may even decide to sharpen up on my writing skills in writing an alternative ending to it for the Fanfac page, but don't count on it.

David North back from the dead? I'm guessing he wrote it beforehand. Anyway, Wonderfull book. This was just like an older book with Mack going from place to place kickin' ass and takin' names! My only complaint was that by the end, North had completely used up the loosing of the intestines description. Every time Mack shot someone in the gut, that someone would be unsuccessfully trying to save his intestines from spilling out. It just got old by the end. Why just his intestines? What about his stomach, liver, spleen, bladder, etc.. They're all in the same area. The last scene was one of the best final showdown scenes that I've read in the newer books. Namely, because this one lasted. The ends of Termination Point (SB #66) and Jackal Hunt (#232) were all very short lived, to the point, get in-get out but make sure you get the bad guys! This one was about 40 pages of well written Mack and the DEA dude going from place to place finishing everyone off. It did help that they were killing themselves, of course. That made Bolan's job quite a bit easier. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 9.

Wonderful entry by Fieldhouse. This was the 3rd Bolan book that I read, and I have been a Fieldhouse fan since. I really enjoyed this one, and looked forward to every other book he's written. On a scale of 1-10, i give it a 9.5

It was an okay book. I liked the Manhattan scene too, chiefly because I live in New York. The suspence was okay, but I've read better. I was expecting more from a Dan Schmidt book. Being that I've read the rest of the trilogy, I'd have to say that this was the best book.

I'll go with the flow and say that the media bashing was definately fun to read. I certainly enjoyed the book and found that Cavaggio was pretty much a carbon copy of Bolan. They seem to make great allies and, if the cituation presented its self, they would be great enemies that would probably make a great book in itself. The action scenes were pretty good, nice overall description and a rather interesting and somewhat different plot. Yeah, the mob thing is pretty old, but still interesting, but this twist was something new. On a scale of 1-10, i give it an honest 8.5.

I enjoyed this one very much. The VR thing was a completely new twist, something that this series needs. Able Team taking on the Farm was a great scene! (Creatively and from a writers perspective. Kinda bad for the farmhands, though.) When Blancanales and Cowboy went at it, I couldn't put the book down. It figures then that Gadgets should invade the Computer room, and Jack coming to the rescue was great. Then, what else can you expect from the Bolan-Lyons encounter? That was another thriller. I thought that the end was anti-climatic, too. It just seemed to end too quickly. He could have spend much more time invading and infiltrating the bad guy than going at for dinner and ending up in a blood bath. Other than that, great book. This, I think, is Fieldhouse at his best.

Another great one, back-to-back too! Mack solo in unfamiliar territory is good, but the added help from Phoenix and 2 guys from Able was kinda odd. Still I liked Gadget there. Those few puns they cracked made it a little interesting. The actions scenes were great. That first one with the Islanders was freaky and good. I loved the doctor too, he was good. The last raid was really good and the rash French actions were kinda weird and sent a tingle up my spine. (Good for a Bolan book!) Loved every minute of it! (1-10): 9.8

This one was another classic great one. The mystery, action, and everything else was just wonderful. Perfect job by Newton. I give it 10 on (1-10). Nothing else can be said, other than what everyone said: This should've been 100.

Great book. The Bolan brothers are alive and working together in another thriller by Mike McQuay

I read this one a while back, so I don't remember much, except for the fact that I loved it and that I never wrote a good review for it. To say the least, I really liked this one. This featured Hal with more problems than the day to day stress of being Hal Brognola. Bolan was really good in this one too. It is HIS series, you know?

This has to be one of the best Bolan books that I've ever read. It gave a whole new perspective on the Ironman.
