This is the best "domestic" executioner ever! I really liked the plot as two seperate storylines came together. I liked seeing mack in a totally different situation teaching teenagers, and his conversations with hal and the female lead were informative and touching. The villain's plot is somewhat far fetched, but not unbelievable. the villains were well developed, especially the evil teachers and Dave Grady! twelve out of ten!

This book is more like an adventure starring the border patrol, guest starring... mack bolan! mack only appears in about 1/4 of the book, the rest is seen through the eyes of the police, the lawyer or the villains. it's not that bad though, and the plot kept me reading. it could be an 7 star book. however, the characterization of mack bolan is incomnplete. the man in the story has Mack's heart but not his head... he does careless things and can't figure out the simple mystery behind the events in the story. minus 2 stars. the villain and police were great main characters though. their backstories were well told, so plus 1 star. it's an okay read, but not really great.

Wow this book was really good. Hashi-san was a very well-developed villain, whose beliefs initially seem to be aligned, then collide with mack bolan's. It was also interesting to see the police captain's (forgot his name)relationship with bolan as he both respects him but keeps him under arrest. I felt very sorry for junko at the end because she was really a victim of her father's ambition. i wonder why mack didn't just try to KO her or something. The action scenes are great, especially the chase with the motorcycles. The only badly done scene is when the police use old airplanes as sheilds. I really liked the story because it had a lot of twists and turns. if you read the first chapter and then read the last chapter, you would have no idea what happened. you really had to see the plot exposed chapter by chapter. A really great book. 9.5 stars!

This book is absolutely great. It was the first Pendleton Executioner i read and it really blew me away. i really liked the introduction of April Rose and the times that Bolan and April argue. I wish there were more discussions like that in the newer Bolans, cause they really add a lot of depth to the characters. The Action is great too, except that the end is not quite as explosive as the cover depicts.
