Overall a well written effort. This story's biggest failing is in the LASER technology. A low power LASER such as the one used for LADAR will propogate through the air and diffract as it passes from the atmosphere to a vacuum (space). A high power LASER will displace the air, therefore it will move through a vacuum at all times. This means that there will be an error of a few degrees between the LADAR and the weapon. No problem over a few miles, but with a range of 22,500 miles this is a miss of over 100 miles. Also, you cannot see a LASER beam in space. There is no air to diffract the beam. Other than this it's a great Bolan.

This book introduces a new and very believable enemy for Mack and the Stony Man commandoes. With the reemergence of NAZI and psuedo-nazi groups around the world, the specter of National Socialism is of major concern to everyone. Here the author cements a number of conspiracy theories into one plausible possibility, giving a very real "homefront enemy" for Mack to combat. The blending of advanced technology, psychological programming, and ancient arcana is enough to make anyone shiver. This book is a must read for anyone who enjoys the action-adventure genre.
