Tooth and Claw July 13, 2001This was the first Stony book I ever read (I still have it in my room, all ripped up) To pit it simply, this novel effin' rocked. It was jam-packed with hi-octane action, and to sift in a different spice, PF was prey instead of predator this turn away. If possible, I'd give this book an 11/10 -
An excellent book! The best I've read in quite a while. Salome IS a fearsome foe, with vast resources, and a devious, calculating mind. The identity of the assissin had me quite surprised. Bolan and co. are actually NOT supermen, this time around. Manning and Gadgets get injured and put out of play for the mission, and the other guys, Bolan included, are exhausted. The capoeria made for quite an interesting reference, both as reference to the battlegrounds, as to the various leads used to bring down Salome. There is one fault, though. Glenn mentioned it. Chuck Roger really didn't give much regard to time and distance. Other than that, though, this book was excellent.
