The Hollywood Reporter has stated that once again the Executioner filming rights have been picked up, this time by director Shane Black (Lethal Weapon) and will develop either a series or a film together with Sony Pictures. -

The final Executioner ebook - Blood Vortex - will be released in December 2020. There will be no books published in 2021. In 2022 the rights will revert back to the Pendleton Estate and all Gold Eagle published ebooks on Amazon etc., will be removed from sale. Don Pendletons original 37 novels are not affiliated with Gold Eagle and will therefore remain on sale as ebooks. -

It appears that Executioner 464: Blood Vortex by Mike Newton will be the final adventure in the Gold Eagle series. The publishers have cancelled the contract with the Pendleton Estate, ending in early 2022 and there appear to be no novels planned for 2021. -

Gold Eagle will be closed down in December 2015. All of the series belonging to Gold Eagle have been cancelled. Whether Mack Bolan will find a new home with a different publisher remains to be seen. -

Several members have discovered that Stony Man 114: Unconventional Warfare is almost identical to Stony Man 106: High Assault. Our advice is to avoid buying Stony Man 114 if possible. -

From July the Bolan books will have a lower page count. The Executioners will return to 196 pages, whilst the large novels will be reduced to 320 pages. -
