ICE AND FIRE The deadly hunt began in the United States, as an escalating series of terrorist incidents were linked to neo-Nazi fanatics calling themselves Temple of the Nordic Covenant. It was more dangerous than other Nazi cliques because of its size and scope, and it's leader's apocalyptic tentacles of a war to end all wars reached across the Atlantic to Europe. Each time, Mack Bolan had been there to thwart the temple's grisly agenda for global dominance and to minimize the spill of innocent blood. But now the temple is going nuclear. Bolan races to preempt a bloodbath in racially charged South America and lock his sights on Gerhard Steuben's final target for the stolen tactical nuke. Endgame comes to the frozen frontier of the South Pole, where a storm of ice and fire will decide whose vision - Bolan's or a madman's - will prevail.

Well fair read for the finish I reckon. No spoilers for figuring out that the allies get blown away through the title as I too would like to see a few recurring characters in these combined series. Some pretty good action scenes as usual with this author but I was pretty disappointed overall with the trilogy.

This book felt kinda padded, which is the same feeling I get from a lot of the trilogy books in this series, but it was readable and held my interest. I think a lot of Newton's books these days feel sort of rushed-through and borrowed from earlier efforts, but there were traces of originality and good effort here, with some good locations and interaction between characters. Not a must-read, but worth flippin' through.

This was the perfect ending to the Tyranny Files. Once again Mike Newton delivers a great story and a tough story to put down. I was sorry to see Gellar and the girl get killed in the same chapter but was so happy to see the villain get what was coming to him at the end. All in all, a great ending to a great series of books.

This book was excellent. The best parts were the Nazi hunting in South Africa and when the Executioner confronts Gerhard Steuben and kills him. I highly suggest this book for anybody who likes a good shoot-em-up story.

Not much more I can add to the other reviews other than to say that one top of being a solid thriller of a book, this was one of the better third books in a trilogy that Gold Eagle has put out. Great stuff.

I am new to Don Pendleton's Mack Bolan. I must say, this is the best book I have ever read. I learned to asscociate with Jacob Gellar, Marylin Crouder, and Gerhard Stuben. I love this book. Now I'm hooked!

Not a bad read at all. I have to say that it wasn't the sort of book that I would normally read, and that before I had read it I didn't know there was a character in the literacy world named Mack Bolan, but I'm definatly hooked on him now! The interactions between the characters were well written, the story on it's own was great and there was plenty of action to keep the pages turning. It may not be the best Bolan book, but for my introduction to that violent little realm, it served an excellent read. I guess that I have to read the first two books now... :)

A totally awesome end to the trilogy. It is a must read if tou want to find out where Mack must chase Stuben next. I this book has plenty of action, but why :WArNING SPOILER AHEAD: do the people that work with Mack usually get killed, it realy bugs me.
