KILL HUNT A terrified scientist flees from a top-secret military installation in Utah - carrying with him a secret that will put Mack Bolan on a hard run to save America from a doomsday plague. A small army of ex-military commandos - guard dogs to this conspiracy financed by shadow players hidden deep in the government - mount a counteroffensive accross the desert. Bolan is a moving target, dodging state-of-the-art killing machines and the meanest, toughest SOBs to ever betray their country. The eleventh hour finds Bolan standing between millions and an unholy judgement day. But he's not about to let twisted visionaries finance their dream with innocent lives. The Executioner is hunting them down for the final accounting.

This one is exactly what is fun about the executioner. The story and settings are written well and you never wonder where the characters are in the action. Bolan is an action hero here and does what he does great. Supporting characters are good and you can feel the villains desperation. A good stand alone story. You do not have to know what happen in the previous book nor do you need to immediately start the next. This is almost perfect.

Stealth Striker was like meeting someone special and finding out that the two of you are incompatible and you must part ways. It starts so sweet and promising but falls into sadness and regret ultimately leaving you unfulfilled. To say this book is bad is really a discredit because I could only find certain things that truly rubbed me the wrong way. The book just ended up leaving me unfulfilled, like it could have been great but just wasn’t. Bolan ended up overcoming difficult situations and discovering information not through the use of his wits and expertise but through the lack of those very things in his adversaries. For the folks that read these books for nothing more then some romping and explosive action then I can see why this was popular. I, however, like to pretend to be a tad more sophisticated and thus demand a degree of intelligence from my pulp adventure novels. Stealth Striker promises that but really only delivers Schmidt’s typical fare.

Without doubt the best Dan Schmidt title I have read in the series. This is VERY much different from what Dan usually writes. From the start to the finish I was thoroughly rapt with the storyline, characters and plot. It reads very smoothly and you can sit back after finishing it and say to yourself "Yep that was worth reading, I have been entertained for a bit." I thought it was great and would certainly recommend this for reading.

Pretty good yarn , especially when the premise of " dooms day virus" has been done several times now. The characters were good, although the scientist was treated more like a plot device ( annoying guy too) than a flesh and blood character. Pretty good action, all in all.

I enjoyed this book. The villains were actually reasonably well-developed, and the action scenes were great. I'm not usually a Dan Schmidt fan, in all honesty, but this book was definitely an exception.

A decent attempt to breathe some fresh air into what might have otherwise been another ho-hum gotta-stop-the-doomsday-plague story. The pacing and dialogue could have been better, but the action scenes were well-developed, as were most of the characters. Good job by Schmidt.

Nice one. I liked the Delta Major he was crazy and hard. The excact opposite of the Delta men i have met. But seeing how Delta Force dosen't exisit i didn't meet them, but i did, but technically i didn't. Ahhh scew it. great book but should have been longer.

I really enjoyed this book. Dan Schmidt did a bang-up job on this one. This book was riveting and kept my total attention.

Dan Schmidt usually writes a slam bang, carnage ridden all out action yarn. This time he does the reverse and does a great job. More character development, but the action is still there. The Utah setting added alot. Bolan is portrayed just right and Paxson is a real nut. I wish the story was longer. Too short. Would have made one heck of a Super Bolan.
