An ex-spook who can provide anything for a price, Thomas Quinn is a high-visibility player in the security industry. His business has a legitimate side, but his steady customers include the cartel, the mob, dictators and terrorists who purchase murder, mercenaries and high-tech weapons. With powerful backers in both the U.S. government and intelligence communities, Thomas Quinn is a hard man to kill. But his deals are getting dirtier and deadlier, and now the Executioner is going to war - to put Quinn out of business.

For the most part this is a rather generic tale about a arms dealing drug smuggling villain Bolan is assigned to take down. Two or three major action sequences are fairly well done, and sprinkled in between are a variety of sub villains to make a more interesting story. The everglades battle and the conflict on the island took up big chunks of the book, and the final battle in Texas although more brief, brought plenty of action to the novel. What otherwise would have been a book I might have rated a seven, I decided to give it an eight because the author did a great job with the overall storyline in this one. At one point I began to think that plot threads were left hanging too long or were completely forgotten, however, I was pleased that things came together nicely by the end. I also like books that have a unique and fitting way to put an end to the main villain, and the writer did a great job in that department I thought. While not too special of a book compared to the best of the super Bolan titles in this series, Judgment in Stone was a worthy enough read, even though I felt as if Bolan relied too much on others to aid him for this mission. If you prefer more the lone wolf kind of adventures, you might not like this title as much.

Hated this one with a vengeance this is supposed to be a Super Bolan title yet he rarely even features with the massive amount of manpower from the alphabet agencies along for the ride in this one he doesn't have to and you get the impression when reading this that he has just been pasted into this title in a few sections where the title was actually supposed to be released in another series. Couple of reasonable battle scenes included but the overwhelming odds faced by the bad guys it was a no contest every time. The author tries to make up for a weak plot/storyline by introducing so many weapons including futuristic weapons just off the drawing board that it becomes silly if not laughable. This could never have been a James Bond title with the thousands of assorted characters from the alphabet agencies but it certainly isn't a Mack Bolan title that's for sure. If I wasn't reading this series in order and intended to write a review on this masterpiece I probably would have given it away 1/2 to 2/3 through as I thought it was crap. Up to you.

I just could not get into this one. Although I read it all the way through, it took two weeks of picking it up and putting it down. It was just a regular Bolan story, with nothing new. Some parts (the battle on the island) were almost a direct copy of another Rich Rainey Executioner story, Maximum Impact. The battle in the Everglades went on forever, yet the ending was very short. I won't be reading this one again.

This one was a long one, and really didn't come out as satisfying as I'd hoped. There were three main battles in the book, plus a lot of nice intrigue and some assasinations by one of the main villains, but then, the final battle seemed so anti-climactic. The best of the battles had to have been the fight for the island, followed by the initial Bolan blitz on the Bahamas. Each one was nice and thrilling, and yet, had a chance of going against the Big Guy and his cohorts. The battle with the Crackers just had too much firepower on hand to be interesting, and the final knockout was a let-down. No face-off with either of the lieutenants, although the final kill was interesting. In all, a so-so book.

This plain out sucked untill the end, where the "smart" guns and buggys see some action.

This one was typical. But it had some high points. Also the introduction of the plane crashing gizmo was pretty interesting. Doesn't that girl on the cover look familiar? She's appeared in a lot of the older Super Bolan covers. Good ending though.
