Sudden Death

It's interesting when you read a book as a kid & then years later. I first read this book when I was 14 or 15; I'm now 37 & since those days I've read a ton. Ludlum, Clancy, Larry Bond, Cornwell & many others & I've got to tell you: this book is as well written as any of those. The plot was great. Sure, they're were some holes & problems with the story, but this is one fine Super-Bolan. It moves along fast even though Bolan isn't shooting up an army every page. You will not be disappointed.

Yep gotta go with most others a fine read here. I really enjoyed the plot and don't intend to give any of it away you really should read this but from the front cover you will have a fair idea what is ahead as soon as you start reading. The suspense does build and build leading to a surprising ending (for me anyway) which I didn't see coming. Docked this one star as the big guy's combat reflexes were left at home in this title. Again and again he is taken unawares by the bad guys which got a little tiring in the end. Nonetheless excellent read recommended.

Agree with Monsta Mack, that it's a way to get hooked into the series. I ought to know -- it was my first introduction to the big guy. Loved it, it kept me hooked. I particularly liked the way Mack sent the last bad guy down the lift shaft -- his own private express route to hell, no?

This is probably my all time favorite so I had to say someting here. If you can look past the bad choice of art for this book and the corny way the bad guys always seemed to catch Bolan again and again so easily, this book was the most fun I ever had reading this series.With lots of acion, plot twists and thrills and spills this is the book i think would be best to hook a friend into reading Bolan books. The plot of the book was great and had it´s twists and turns making Bolan a pawn in a sick game he didn´t have any control over until later on when he managed to put some of the pieces of the puzzle together. The book was a long one but the suspense was well kept until the last pages making it difficult to stop reading the book until it was finished.

I think this is the best of al the super bolans. I own ever Mack bolan book ever writen sence 1960 and i thin kthese are the best books ever.

REAL GOOD BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MARKSMAN?

I thought this one was cheesy in some aspects because I had already figured out who Baraka really is by the cover alone; although Gunslinger's right about that scene in particular.

This was a very original entry that was fairly enjoyable. The climax where Bolan unloads with his sniper rifle was very tense
