His name is Alexander De Moray. Ex-Special Forces, ex-CIA and prototype of the Huntsman, an army of stone killers created by hypnosis and brainwashing. Arms industrialist Hayden Thone has unleashed his immortal enforcers who are programmed to kill. Their targets: world leaders and a U.S. President. Thone's goal: total anarchy. Mack Bolan leads the Stony Man warriors against Thone's invincible soldiers. The Executioner has survived ancient killing grounds in the past. Can he beat the odds this time?

The final book in the Arms trilogy starts off with a great scene around the train in Italy. Herring captures the beginning of this scene nicely on the cover of the book. After this, the action again shifts between Able Team, Phoenix Force, and Bolan, as they move closer to unraveling the interesting plot and get closer to stopping Thone, the main villan. This trilogy has one of the most unusual tactics the villain uses to further his own gains that I've read yet in the series. Between the standard action scenes, this made the read more interesting, and I also liked how the woman huntsman was dealt with and she turned out to be a useful ally. A pretty decent ending in the mountains with a Bond-like scene on the ski slope and we have overall a solid trilogy loaded with all the Stony man personel and tons of fast paced action.

Perfect ending book of the trilogy which is the best trilogy to date in the series. The plot is finally exposed and it is brilliant in its planning and execution. The book seems very well balanced and easy to read. The highlight for me was the attack on the train to rescue the hostages and the subsequent escape. Good to see Brognola involved in some action but I thought it was a little far fetched that he would be arrested for murder. Excellent reading trilogy through all of the books and is highly recommended. my two bobs worth........

Overall I really am not a fan of trilogies. Also how about one writer - one trilogy. There were a lot of problems with this trilogy. 1) What I call peanut butter/chocolate problem. I enjoy both but please don't mix them. Jerry's novel was very rapid paced and had very short segments. Mel's two novels were slower paced, far more serious and rather long segments. Book two by VanCook was a rather funny novel - James and his vegan/fruit interregation was a riot. Just thinking of that banana = shiver. The scene in the bar with Able Team was also very funny. There really was no humor to Odom's two books. One writer - one trilogy. 2) Executioner novel should star the Executioner this really came across more as an Stony Man novel. I really don't consider PF to be really Executioner characters and AT somewhat. I don't mind a little bit of them but this should really have been a SM duology. 3) I enjoyed the concept of the Hunter and liked how the first novel chapter fit in slowly. I thought the most poignant moment and a rare scene showing the long term affects of survivors of their love ones killed by bad guys. I liked how Lyons saved the Hunters wife that was spiraling out of control not with guns blazing but words and compassion. 4) The action scenes were good. I liked Mack's action scenes the best I did get a bit lost in the boat scene with AT. 5) It would have been nice seeing how the conditioning of hunters worked by having Giselle go through it or a new hunter. 6) Thone was a fun bad guy. Loved Hollywood yet also felt superior to them. His guns for drugs business made no sense. Guns for cash yes - it seemed far to risky and harder to do both a gun and drug business. Overall if you don't have this trilogy don't bother hunting for it. If you come across it read it ok but other then that you aren't missing anything by skipping it.

The last of the trilogy. The story is brought together (with te exception of explaining how Thone got his info so he knew where to hit Brognola and the others in the first 2 books) The female Huntsman was a nice touch (letting her blow away Demornay was cool also). Brognola straining to keep Stony Man a secret (again it is never explained how Cosgrove gets sensitive Stony Man intel) and gettng placed in the slammer is also a neat plot twist. Pheonix Force does a little blitzing in the middle east which is also entertaining. Able team helps the alcoholic wife of a captured alter find help, good also. Seven overall stars (need to read the first 2 or this one will make no sense.

IMO, couldn't have been a better ending. The action was perfect Bolan, with equal time to the other two teams. The interrogation scene with the female huntsman made the book for me.
