When neo-Nazis seize a U.S. courthouse and demand the release of their leader, Mack Bolan is called to go in under the radar and eliminate the gunmen. But before he can finish the job, the WWII Nazi escapes. With hostages. Bolan knows that more innocent blood will be shed unless he can take out the neo-Nazis-every last one. And speed is of the essence, as the war criminal has picked the leader of a holocaust remembrance group as his new target. This time there will be no escape. The Executioner is judge and jury, and he's ready to deliver his own form of justice.

This is a great action book! Without question my favorite Phil Elmore writing that I've read. This book has a great plot, great characters, great action sequences, writing that pulls upon the reader's emotions, and major involvement of Jack G ... one of my favorites. The author did a great job of setting the foundation from the story. Whether it was Nitzche or one of the Berwalds, there is detailed historical information provided that draws out tremendous depth in the story. You can almost feel the anger in Bolan's final scene toward the end ...great stuff! Not too mention Hal's "epiphany". There is little to critique on this one. A "10" in my book and highly recommended title to all action readers.

This is probably my favorite Phil Elmore Executioner to date. I thought it had just the right proportions of character and action. The plot was a little thin, consisting of essentially a series of strung together action sequences, but they all flowed logically from one another, and I couldn't wait to see how the action would escalate from scene to scene. The characters acted from believable and sympathetic (or despicable) motivations, but with actions that were completely in keeping with their portrayal. The military action was top notch, and Mack was in fine form. I read through this one in a white heat, and put it at the front of my bookshelf to read again before too long.

cant say i was a fan of this one. high on action but low on story. Mack is going after a old ww2 Nazi (he has got to be 90 at least if he was a camp commander in ww2) who got busted out of court in mid trial by his Neo Nazi thugs. so this Nazi, Klause Nitchze or something, was hiding in SA for more than half a century and had i giant private army with seemingly endless supplies? where was he getting funded from? nothing seemed to add up. Phil needed more room (page count) to strecth his legs. This should have been a superbolan.
