Victor Milan's debut in the series that started it all in this genre - DEATHLANDS - does a fine job of taking the writing helm this time around. With his first entry here, Victor Milan proves beyond a reason of doubt, that he can easily fill both much needed gaps in both series of Deathlands and Outlanders. He gives a different take and builds a yarn not full of rehashing that Mark Ellis has started doing in the blast few years. Instead of giving us readers pages and pages of rehashing that we've read over and over, Milan gives us high caliber action/adventure without bastardsizing the characters and the world-building that previous writers have established - Laurence James, Jack Adrian, and Mark Ellis. A nice change.
