As Public cynicism grows over a war the Americans can't seem to win, US. Army Special Forces captain Mack Gerber mounts a strike against NVA troops in Binh Long Province. Occupying an abandoned camp, Gerber and his elite team drive the enemy from the area. But Gerber is determined to press his advantage by taking the war to the enemy's doorstep. With heavy air and ground support, the Americans push the NVA and VC Into Cambodia, establishing control in Binh Long. Then the hand-picked commandos undertake a covert cross-border operation in relentless pursuit of the fleeing VC. Despite some MACV boondoggles, Gerber has proved what he's known all along- the way to win a war is to move in, take ground and, when you can, hit the enemy. Hit them hard.
