Cambodian Sanctuary

When a Caucasian male is spotted in Cambodia, directing Vietcong attacks against U.S. Army positions, the military immediately assumes the man is a deserter with an ax to grind. A rendezvous is set up, using a female journalist and a CIA agent posing as a newsman, to interview the deserter. But the moment the pair arrive at the assigned site in Cambodia, they are taken prisoner by the NVA. Word of their capture reaches Special Forces Captain Mack Gerber, who figures Hanoi is trying to draw him into an illegal cross-border mission. Illegal or not, Gerber realizes that the lives of the two Americans are at stake, especially when an informant reveals the whereabouts of the two U.S. captives. Gerber assembles an A-team to rescue the journalist and the CIA man, only to discover that his snitch is a double agent and is leading him into a trap. . .
